Chris Taylor was born in Bedford, Texas, December 4, 1979 into a family with a rich heritage in the church. From a very young age he gained experience in every aspect of the ministry. He attended Lee University in Tennessee where he studied business and theology.
After his sophomore year of college, Chris began experimenting with drugs and alcohol, which led to a 12-year addiction. During a year long discipleship program in Waxahachie, Texas called the 180 Center, Chris found freedom from his addiction and later became the Children’s Pastor at Foundation of Life Church. He also worked as the Assistant Director of Common Ground Ministries, an after school and summer mentoring and tutoring program for at-risk youth in the rough “east-side” of Waxahachie.
In September of 2014, he moved to Paris, Texas and currently works for the Texas Dream Center, a faith based drug and alcohol rehabilitation program for men. His goal is to equip and prepare others to walk in freedom and to become mighty warriors for the kingdom of God. He finds joy in sharing the work God has done in his life through to help others who have found themselves in the same condition.
Chris currently serves as the Youth Pastor of Skyscrapers Student Ministries at Pathway International, in Paris, Texas and leads the Praise and Worship.
